It does so by removing the time, (and therefore the cost) from the process of personal training through three key factors:

  1. The development of sophisticated computer software to generate periodized personal programs
  2. The concept of personal direction which replaces conventional personal training sessions

about the service plans

All service plans use an individual program created and tailored especially for your needs, objectives and capacities. So you can achieve the results you want without having to think about what to do, it's all prepared for you.

You chose the level of personal direction required, that is the amount of time you want to work directly with Kym.

This direction can occur every Monday, Wednesday and Friday or as little as once every 5 weeks.

It can be organised into weekly or fortnightly blocks or sessionally based.

You can now have a regular session/s once, twice or three times a week. Or perhaps once every two, three, four or five weeks. You choose!

Now you can have the flexibility to have a personal trainer, as much or as little as you like, without the associated price tag!

Obviously the more personal direction involved, the greater the cost. Costs range from $290 per month to $85 per month, so everyone can afford and enjoy the benefits of personal training with Kym.

what happens in personal direction sessions?

Personal direction sessions replace traditional personal training sessions.

What happens in the session is really up to you, I’m a resource for you to utilise.

how often is my program updated?

Rod_vert_2 Generally your program is pre-programmed for a period of 15 sessions (usually 5 weeks).

This allows for adaptation to occur.

As it's periodized , the program is actually scheduled over a number of phases.

It will be updated after 15 sessions (usually 5 weeks)

Should we need to, your program can be changed at any time, however it would be usual to complete the outline as scheduled.


what will my program be like?

This really depends on what your objectives and capabilities are at the moment.

Each program is individually prepared and tailored for you.

I can tell you it's easy to follow and that you'll understand it quickly.

I can tell you that it will be set at an appropriate level for your current capabilities.

what are the different service plans available?

The service plans are arranged into full, block and sessionally based structures.

Full service denotes that you can work under Kym's personal direction every session (Monday, Wednesday, Friday)

Sessional services use a colon (:) or written titles

    the first number represents "session/s of personal direction"

    the second number represents "sessions"

e.g. 1:5 would be a service plan that provides 1 session of personal direction every 5 sessions. That is , one session with Kym, followed by 4 sessions where you'd follow your program individually.

1 every 3 weeks would be a service plan where you have 1 session of personal direction every 3 weeks. That is , one session with Kym, followed by the remainder of the 3 weeks where you'd follow your program individually.

 

 

 

what's the catch?

There is none.

"Personal Training 4 all" provides the benefits of personal training without the cost, essentially through three key factors:

  1. The development of sophisticated computer software to generate periodized personal programs
  2. The concept of personal direction which replaces conventional personal training sessions
  3. The use of flexible Service Plans

Kym had already developed the sophisticated software to allow him to easily generate and replicate programs. This process would otherwise be a time consuming and therefore expensive process.

Kym noticed in many conventional personal training sessions that although his clients wanted him to help, motivate, direct and guide them, (providing them the detail of what to do), they didn't necessarily need him to be with them throughout the whole session, nor indeed often for many sessions.   

He therefore developed the concept of pt4all including a range of fee structures and personal direction so as to provide the benefits of personal training without the cost.

Personal direction allows Kym to guide and oversee your session and program without you having his exclusive attention.

It's not 1:1 necessarily, although at times it may be, but at most times there'll be others doing personal direction sessions simultaneously.

Personal direction allows you to "share" Kym's time, and therefore share the cost, making training with him a more economical method.

Agreement document

The agreement document serves as formal notification of your intent to commence a service plan under the conditions specified within it.

It is not a guarantee of the provision of the service plan selected. It serves only as a reservation for the selected service plan outlined until such time it is confirmed by the deposit of 1st months fee in advance and the subsequent confirmation of its receipt by Kym.

Confirmation of receipt of payment

You will receive confirmation by e-mail (or other specified means if outlined in the agreement document) upon the receipt of your first month's fee. This confirmation will also include the dates of your personal direction sessions for the agreed period.

Session availability

Kym Brockhoff (hereafter referred to as KB) will be available for consultation and personal direction at the following times each Monday, Wednesday and Friday, unless as outlined

    A. Early sunrise           6.00  -   7.30 am
    B. Late sunrise            7.30  -   9.00 am

All personal direction sessions will be limited in time to the boundaries of the session in which they have been booked. I.e. personal direction will not start until the session in which it is booked has commenced and will conclude at the end of the session (or earlier if appropriate)

Payments

Payments can be made by cash, cheque, credit card, direct debit or electronic funds transfer (eft).

Payments are expected to be made a month in advance and promptly on the 1st of the month or as otherwise stated in the Agreement document.

Any credit card, cash or cheque payment being made on the day must be completed prior to commencing any personal direction session.

Pricing

The pricing for your selected service plan is locked for the period of the agreement at the rate specified but is not necessarily representative of pricing schedules for subsequent agreements. I.e. Prices will be subject to variation after the agreement is completed.

Personal direction sessions

Personal direction is the term now used for a session with KB.

Personal direction sessions are under normal circumstances limited to 5 participants

Only clients who are financial will be provided with personal direction (training)

  • current clients who are non-financial will be provided with only their program until they have made their monthly payment
  • any credit card, cash or cheque payments to be made on the day are to be completed prior to commencing any personal direction session.

Personal direction sessions are limited to the time allocated to the session in which the appointment is made.

  • e.g. a personal direction session in the early morning session is limited to between 9.30am-11.00am.
  • Where the personal direction exceeds the time allocated for a session, either encroaching into a different session, into a scheduled break or past 8.00pm your program will be made available for you to follow, but the personal direction component will cease.
  • Should you wish to start your session before your scheduled appointment time, your program will be made available for you to follow, but the personal direction component will not commence until scheduled or until the session in which it is made has commenced, whichever is the earlier.

If you are running late or need to re-schedule your session on the day, conditions apply.

Re-scheduling on the day

Sometimes it's necessary to re-schedule an appointment for a personal direction session.

The more notice you allow Kym, the more options you have.

Please call as SMS often take some time to arrive (can be up to hours later).

The onus is on you to keep Kym informed, as you may be able to complete or re-schedule your personal direction appointment. There are some conditions as outlined below:

  • Should you call any time up to the commencement of your scheduled appointment you will be permitted to reschedule your appointment to another time in the same session (*).
    • You will be unable to further re-schedule this appointment.
    • If you are more than 5 minutes late to your rescheduled time it is understood that you have forfeited the session.
      • Your program will be available for you to follow, but you will not be entitled to start or reschedule your personal direction session for that day.
  • Should you call any time up to the commencement of your scheduled appointment you may be permitted to reschedule your appointment to another session on that day provided no more than 5 other people have already scheduled an appointment within the new session.
    • You will be unable to further re-schedule this appointment.
  • Should you call any time up to 15 minutes past the commencement of your scheduled appointment you will be permitted to reschedule your appointment to another time in the same session*.
    • You will be unable to further re-schedule this appointment.
      • If you are more than 5 minutes late to your rescheduled time it is understood that you have forfeited the session.
      • Your program will be available for you to follow, but you will not be entitled to start or reschedule your personal direction session that day.

  • Should you be ready to commence your appointment more than 15 minutes late (without notice) to your scheduled appointment it is understood that you have forfeited the session.
    • Your program will be available for you to follow, but you will not be entitled to start or reschedule your personal direction session that day.

Lateness

We all run late at some stage. Often it's due to circumstances beyond our control.

The more notice you allow Kym, the more options you have.

    (*) Subject to personal direction sessions - conditions.

Public holiday

All Public Holidays are recognised and as such Kym will be unavailable for personal direction sessions.

No provision will be made for rescheduling personal direction sessions falling on public holidays.

However, as your program is prepared and available for you to use any time, you can follow it should you desire.

KB holiday

It is usual that KB travels with his family for vacation during the Christmas period each year.

Any scheduled personal direction sessions that fall due during Kym's time-off will be made up prior to his departure.

Any program update will be forwarded by e-mail when required.

For Full service patrons, their program will be downgraded to a block 2:2 or 2:3 program to cover the vacation period and the immediate period before Kym's departure:

  • An associated price reduction will apply
  • Your program will revert automatically to the agreed conditions upon Kym's resumption
  • The period of "downgrading" will count towards fulfilling the agreed term

KB sick

Should you have a personal direction session scheduled with KB that he is unable to meet due to sickness you will be entitled to rescheduled that session at the earliest mutually convenient time.

Should no mutually convenient time be possible, you will be entitled to a rebate for the lost session at a published rate equivalent to the sessional personal direction rate minus the prepared program rate for your service. These rates will be published at www,pt4all.info and you can request they be sent to you.

Changing service plan

You can change service plans, but some conditions apply.

Firstly, there needs to be a position open in the service plan you want to change to.

  • Check "What places are still available?" at www.pt4all.info or ask KB for clarification

Secondly, you need to provide formal written notice of at least 7 days prior to the end of the current unit of your existing service plan.

  • use form entitled "changing services"

        or

  • e-mail, SMS these details

Thirdly you will need to receive confirmation from Kym of your formal written notice

  • This will be sent by e-mail and will contain
    • confirmation of the changes
    • start date of your new service plan
    • details of a bridging fee due which reflects the changes for the upcoming month and replaces the monthly fee for that month
    • details your new arrangements, including your new monthly fee

Finally, you need to complete the current unit of your existing service plan.

  • Service plans are arranged into units, depending on their composition
  • For full service, the unit corresponds to the billing period, and is considered to be of one month's duration (4.33 weeks)
  • For block services, this is done by adding together the two numbers that represent the service (personal direction and the time working individually following the program)
    • eg 2-4 service would have a unit of 6 weeks, (2+4)
  • For sessional services, ( excepting "1 every 5 weeks" ) the unit corresponds to the billing period, and is considered to be of one month's duration (4.33 weeks)
    • For "1 every 5 weeks" the unit is 5 weeks
  • The start of each unit is designated by the start of time under personal direction with Kym
  • The finish of the unit is the date calculated by adding the unit length to the start of the unit.

Suspension of service plan

No facility is available to suspend service plans


Termination of agreement

KB reserves the right to be able to terminate an agreement

Ending a agreement

The agreement shall end automatically on the date specified in the agreement signed

There is no obligation to continue.

Should you wish to continue with KB, you will complete a new agreement. Should this be your intention, every endeavour shall be made to supply a continuity of service should you wish to continue on the same service plan.

You shall be notified via e-mail (or other means as specified in the agreement document) within 7 days from when your current agreement is due to expire. You shall have up to that expiry date to complete another agreement for that position.

Should you not have completed the new agreement by this time, your position will be advertised as available.

Cancellation fee

Should you be unable to complete your agreement for any reason you will be charged a cancellation fee

The cancellation fee represents the difference between what you have paid and what you should have paid for the term you've completed

This amount and any other outstanding amounts are to be finalised within 7 days of confirmation of your written notice.

To calculate your cancellation fee, refer to the monthly pricing schedule.

  1. Evaluate how much of your agreement you have completed
                                                          
  2. Determine what category this places you in:

    • less than 6 months
    • 6-12 months
    • 12 months or more

  3. Determine the difference in price between your completed agreement and your agreed term as outlined in the lower part of the monthly pricing schedule*

  4. Multiply the term length as calculated above (item 1) by the price difference (item 3) to arrive at the cancellation fee.

*Where there is no difference in item 3, a flat $30 cancellation fee is applied

Referral program

I intend at some time in 2006 to introduce a reward for referral program. The terms and conditions will be published at that time.

Any referrals that meet the criteria outlined by any such program made from Jan 1 2006 shall retrospectively qualify for any such program.

Use of images for promotional purposes

At times KB may have need to record your image for use in promotional material associated with "Personal Training 4 All"

how can I pay?

Payments can be made by cash, cheque, credit card, Direct Debit or electronically by EFT.

My preferred option is Direct Debit, paid on the 1st of the month, one month in advance.

can I change my service plan?

Yes, you can change service plans, but some conditions apply.

Firstly, there needs to be a position open in the service plan you want to change to.

Secondly, you need to provide formal written notice of at least 7 days prior to the end of the current unit of your existing service plan.

can I suspend my service plan?

No.

You should carefully choose the length of your agreement before committing to it, taking into consideration any vacations or travel you have planned.

what if I can't complete my agreement?

Should you be unable to complete the agreement you will need to give written notice and receive confirmation of that notice.

  • You will need to pay for any unit you have commenced.
  • The cancellation fee represents the difference between what you have paid and what you should have paid for the term you've completed
    • eg A yearly agreement is terminated after 4 months. You have therefore completed a 4 month agreement (cost $20 per month more than yearly agreement), so you would be due to pay $80, (4 X $20) as a cancellation.
    • eg A six month agreement is terminated after 2 months. You have therefore completed a 2 month agreement (cost $10 per month more than the 6 month agreement), so you would be due to pay $20, (2 X $10) as a cancellation.
  • The fees outlined above will be due and payable within 7 days of the confirmation of your written notice.
