It is well-established that these days the population is living longer than ever. Most of us would hope to enjoy a healthy and active lifestyle throughout this time.
In order to do this, it is important that we take positive action as early as possible in order to address the factors we have influence over.

The five tips recommended were
1. Maintaining a healthy weight
- Possibly the most important factor in healthy longevity
2. Limiting your sugar intake
3. Eat nine serves of fruit and vegetables every day
- half a cup constitutes a serve
- at least five servings of vegetables a day and up to four servings of fruit
4. Exercise regularly
5. Get sufficient sleep
